If you have a Samsung Galaxy S20, then you might be interested to know that it will no longer have monthly updates. On the contrary, updates will take place every three months.
According to Android Authority, this means that the entire series is subject to this condition. In other words, both the Galaxy S20 and the S20 Plus, S20 Ultra or Galaxy S20 FE will be updated quarterly.
For now, the device's security should be up to date. This is because Samsung released security patches in March. This means that the Galaxy S20 has the latest security upgrade from the South Korean brand.
In April, the Galaxy S20 will no longer receive an update

However, in April the situation will be different. That said, to get the next update, you will have to wait for the month of June (via Android Authority).
Remember that, as mentioned by the same source of information, the Galaxy S20 was launched in 2020 with Android 10. However, it no longer has Android updates, after fulfilling the three-year update promise.
It is possible that this decrease in the regularity of updates makes some users think about other alternatives. As SamMobile points out, Samsung's sales have been a success. So much so that, in February, Samsung surpassed Apple in sales, after five months behind the brand founded by Steve Jobs.
It is estimated that the Samsung Galaxy S24 was a major driver of this result. According to SamMobile, Galaxy AI's Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities have excited not only fans of the new Galaxy S24, but also other cell phones.
Galaxy S23, Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are some of these examples, which have received new AI features.
