According to the manufacturer, Samsung's Bluetooth tracker SmartTag2 has an impressive running time of up to 500 days, which can be increased by up to 40% in energy saving mode. The manufacturer states that the Bluetooth trackers can be used to easily locate not only backpacks, but also key chains, laptops, bicycle accessories and more. According to the information, the SmartTag2 is IP67-certified and therefore dust and water-resistant. They are also described as robust, which makes them the ideal travel companion.
Locating the objects should also be easy. If the “Lost” mode is activated, the NFC of the SmartTag displays the contact details and a message on the finder's smartphone – and according to the manufacturer, this is independent of the finder's operating system.
The compass view is also available. As soon as the “Search nearby” function is switched on, it should be possible to display intuitive step-by-step instructions via the compass view. According to the manufacturer, it is also possible to make the tag ring via an audio signal for easy location. The smart tracker emits an acoustic signal, which makes it easier to find the tag.
The Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 pack of 4 is currently on offer on Amazon with a 42% discount, which means the price is almost 55 euros lower than the recommended retail price. A single SmartTag2 is currently reduced in price by up to 40% depending on the color and is available for just under 24 euros. However, all offers are only valid while stocks last or until the respective discount campaign on Amazon ends.
