The online retailer is offering it for 549 euros. A top offer, which Amazon has, however, marked as “limited”.
What makes the 65-inch Samsung Smart TV special?
The Samsung Crystal UHD Smart TV CU8579 from 2023 was rated “2.2 – good” by Computer Bild. It is praised in the test for its “good picture with vivid colors”. In its price range, 80 percent coverage of the extended HDR color spectrum is common, but the Samsung TV achieves an astonishing 92 percent. The maximum contrast of 4,000:1 is also impressive. The Crystal Processor 4K scales content in HD and SD well to UHD resolution.
The very flat AirSlim design makes the Samsung Crystal CU8579 look significantly more expensive than it actually is. With its extremely thin frame and ultra-slim profile, the TV blends almost seamlessly into the background when mounted on the wall. Despite the slim design, the device remains stable and robust. Testers describe the sound as “pleasant and warm”, but it lacks “pressure in the bass and shine in the treble”. For better sound quality, a separate soundbar is recommended (from €79 on Amazon).
The Samsung television is also impressive as a user-friendly smart TV. With the Samsung Smart Hub and the Gaming Hub, it offers two central platforms that enable easy and quick access to numerous streaming services, apps and games. The Smart Remote control included in the delivery can also control other devices such as a set-top box or soundbar if desired.
How good is the deal for the Samsung TV really?
The Geizhals price comparison shows it: The Samsung CU8579 has never been as cheap as it is now on Amazon. A 65-inch TV of the quality from a top brand for 549 euros is something you rarely see. Including shipping, you pay 90 euros more for the next best eBay offer. At Cyberport, the TV already costs 678.90 euros. In that respect, we can speak of a top deal here. But how long is the price valid? The offer marks the offer on the product page as “limited”.
